Following the very successful 'We Are One' walk held in 2000, we are again going to:
at the Walk of Witness on Saturday 28 November.
The Walk of Witness starts at Salford Cathedral at 10.15am with the Bishop of Salford, The Rt Revd Terence Brain. We will be joined by the Mayor of Salford and walk to Manchester Cathedral (at about noon) for a service which will finish by 1pm. The Bishop of Manchester, The Rt Revd Nigel McCulloch, and the Lord Mayor of Manchester will also be present.
Christians of all nationalities and traditions are encouraged to join in. Everyone walking is invited to bring a flag of their nationality to proclaim that we are ONE with believers of all nations (no church banners please).
