This autumn the annual diocesan communion service for 11-14s is going ‘on tour’. The usual mix of active and participatory ingredients will make this an engaging worship experience for young people (and the adults who accompany them!) This year’s theme looks at our sense of identity as individuals and children of God.
The ‘on tour’ approach means that the service will be in your archdeaconry at some point in the autumn. However, if the date for your archdeaconry is inconvenient, please feel free to travel to one of the other venues.
Sunday 10 October St Andrew’s Church
Arm Road, Dearnley, Rochdale OL15 8NJ
Sunday 31 October St Hilda’s Church
Warwick Rd South, Firswood, Manchester M16 0JE
Sunday 28 November St Stephen’s Church
Manchester Road, Astley, Manchester M29 7BT
Sunday 12 December Canon Slade School Chapel
Bradshaw Brow, Bolton BL2 3BP
All the services are from 5pm-6.30pm.
Please let Steve Dixon know as soon as possible if you are intending to bring a group of young people to one of these venues.
(Please remember, children and young people remain the responsibility of their accompanying adults at all times during these events.)
