The annual awards service for those receiving certificates in Children’s and Youth Ministry was again a great, uplifting celebration.
Bishop Mark, Chair of the Board of Education, awarded the certificates at a special service of Evensong held at the Cathedral.
He paid warm tribute to the dedication of all who minister among the young people, especially those who undertake training to equip them for this ministry.
In total, 87 Manchester diocesan Bishop’s Certificates in Children’s Ministry were
awarded, 30 Key Youth Ministry Certificates, and six Church Colleges’ Certificates in Christian Youth Work were presented to representatives of the participating dioceses of Manchester, Chester and St Asaph.
Details of all these courses are available here, or contact Steve Dixon 0161 828 1433 (children) or Susie Mapledoram 0161 828 1435 (youth).
