Manchester welcomes Finnish youth workers

Manchester had the pleasure of hosting a group of 14 youth workers, youth work directors and pastors from its link Diocese in Tampere, Finland.
During their stay the group visited the YPAC youth work project in Miles Platting, the Diggle and Uppermill Ecumenical Youth Project, and spent a day with some of our youth workers sharing good practice theories, new ideas and resources in youth work.
Susie Mapledoram, Youth Officer, said, “It was a fantastic visit and served to deepen our diocesan relationship and strengthen new friendships that have grown from our mutual commitment to work with young people in Manchester and Tampere”.
