Who’s Who in Mission and Evangelism
Canon Evangelist
Our Canon Evangelist is Tony Hardy. Tony has experience of setting up Fresh Expressions of Church, including C3 Stockport www.c3stockport.net and was Diocesan evangelist in Liverpool Diocese and north west ministry consultant for CPAS until 2009.
Missioner for Fresh Expressions
Revd Ben Edson is our diocesan Missioner for Fresh Expressions and will work closely with Tony to encourage such initiatives. He is well known as co- founder and leader of Sanctus 1 in Manchester www.sanctus1.co.uk

Mission and Evangelism Core Group
The Mission and Evangelism Core Group meets regularly to
- develop a strategy for mission
- pray for one another and the events being planned
- plan and support events organized by the group and offered to the diocese
- publicize events at home deaneries and parishes.
The group contains about 20 lay and ordained people, some of whom represent their home deanery. The members, of many different traditions in the church, have a passion for evangelism and a desire to see the church grow as more people hear the Good News of Jesus Christ proclaimed. Members of the group also assist parishes with training and support in mission and evangelism.
