Have you heard of Fresh Expressions?
Tony Hardy, our new Canon Evangelist, says “It's an exiting initiative within the Anglican Church that's all about encouraging free and creative thinking about church and mission.”
Fresh Expressions helps people to imagine new forms of church that will reach and nurture people who ‘don’t do church’.
Tony says, “There will be much encouragement and support in the diocese for these new ideas and it’s my job and pleasure to support fresh expressions.
Mission-Shaped Intro
Mission-Shaped Intro is a six-week course to encourage those who are beginning this creative journey in mission to re-invent or re-orient church as mission shaped.
It's ideal for leadership teams, small groups and PCCs.
Enjoyable and hands-on, its style is varied and includes spoken teaching, reading material, multimedia, creative activity, prayer and worship by combining presentations and group activity.
