You may not have considered giving to your church by standing order, but regular giving by this means helps your treasurer budget more accurately and plan more effectively.
Many of us use standing orders to pay our council tax, energy bills, and water rates, so why not think about making your gift to God in the same way?
Paying by standing order also avoids the Sunday morning scrabble to find the money to put in your envelope!
If you think this is for you, please speak to your treasurer to get the necessary account details to give to your bank. Remember to ensure that the reference which appears on the church's bank statement identifies you; this enables accurate audit trails for Gift Aid purposes.
Don't like the plate passing you by? Ask your church for a standing order card which you can put on the plate instead of an envelope!
