The Diocese of Manchester has a vacancy for an Senior Administrative Officer in its Education Department. The post is offered for a fixed term period of 12 months to cover maternity leave. The post-holder will be the senior officer in a team of four and will take a higher level of administrative responsibilities within the Department which supports five senior colleagues.

Candidates will need good levels of literacy and numeracy, suitable for writing Board reports, minuting meetings and analysing complex data.

Co-ordinating Chaplain at the University of Bolton

The Diocese of Manchester wishes to appoint a Chaplain to be based at the University of Bolton. This is a 0.5 post for 17.5 hours per week which will be worked in a pattern by agreement but requiring flexibility.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the representative of the Diocese located within the vibrant and exciting university community in Bolton. Whilst being the key Anglican presence in the team, it will be equally important that the successful candidate can work ecumenically and in in an environment where denominational boundaries are less important.
