The Booth Centre at Manchester Cathedral is launching its Harvest Festival appeal once again and would love to receive donations of tinned and packet food from schools and churches in the diocese.
Over 250 schools and churches have supported them in the past and they hope that this year even more people will be able to help, as demand on their services is growing with the recession.
The donations it receives at Harvest time enables the Booth Centre to provide free food and drinks for homelessness people throughout the year.
A leaflet giving all the details can be downloaded from the Booth Centre website at www.boothcentre.org.uk.
