Fourteen people from the Deane deanery have completed the CPAS course, Growing Leaders, which they have been doing over the past year. The course was led by a team of clergy in the deanery. Rob Jackson reports:
“The combination of prayer, group work, teaching and mentoring worked really well with people from a wide range of backgrounds. All thoroughly enjoyed the course, and it has been wonderful to see them grow in faith and discipleship.”
The completion of the course was marked with a celebration service at which participants gave testimonies and the Bishop of Bolton preached.
Rob Jackson hopes to run the course again in 2010. If you would like to know more about how the course worked locally, contact him on 01942 812119.
