The 'I have a Cunning Plan' training for people involved in children’s ministry was repeated at eight venues across the diocese.
Led by Diocesan Children’s Officer, Steve Dixon, it used a variety of activities to help participants think through some of the things we need to bear in mind when planning an effective programme for children’s ministry.
The training was attended by over 100 people from 41 churches, and each gained a credit towards the Bishop’s Certificate in Children’s Ministry, Level 1.
From feedback returns, 96% agreed that the session was be helpful in improving the quality of the experience children have in church.
