Members of St Andrew’s, Dearnley visited the remote community of Omboloka in northern Namibia to oversee the installation of solar units for which they had raised money. The units will provide electrical power for the first time in the community.
The Prinicipal of the school, Lazerus Shapwa, said it was evidence to the children and teachers that God had not forgotten them. The power will be used to provide internet access for children as they study for their exams.
St Andrew’s Primary school donated baseball hats and Wardle High School donated football strip, for which the boys were very grateful.
