This week sees the launch of an appeal to buy Christmas radio ads that will reach nearly half a million people aged 15-35, across Greater Manchester. The ads have been produced as part of the ChurchAds.net ‘Christmas Starts with Christ’ campaign.
To get the Christmas message to the whole of Greater Manchester £2,500 needs to be raised. If this can be done then independent radio station, Key 103, will broadcast dozens of ‘Christmas Starts with Christ’ ads, from the middle of December to Boxing Day, reaching over 450,000 younger people. Put simply, for every £25 donated 18,000 young people will hear the Christmas message three times a week.
If you would like to help with a small personal or a larger church/Churches Together donation, then here is a link to the appeal site: www.justgiving.com/christmascampaign
We have until 4 December to raise the money.
This appeal is being administered by the Church of England Diocese of Manchester, with all proceeds going towards specified media campaigns. Tax payers can gift aid their donation. More details at www.justgiving.com/christmascampaign
