For the first time this year, Manchester Cathedral will be hosting a stall at the Christmas Markets. Clergy, worshippers and staff will welcome people to the stall which will sell CDs, cards, nativity sets, fairtrade and other Christmas items.
The stall will be open from 10am to 7pm every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 21 December. Come and visit us outside The Triangle for your seasonal purchases.
The Dean of Manchester Cathedral, the Very Revd Rogers Govender, said: “We are thrilled to be a part of Manchester’s famous Christmas Markets. People will be able to buy Christmas presents and goods. They will also be able to find out more about our development project.”
The stall will be decorated with pictures of the Virgin Mary and the baby Jesus with the caption “Christmas Starts with Christ”.
