We Love Our Youth Worker

St Peter’s, Halliwell became the first parish in the diocese to receive the accreditation of We Love Our Youth Worker. This National Charter for church youth workers is a set of seven promises that churches and Christian organisations make about the practices and principles they use in employing and supporting their youth worker.
These are: to
- pray and support
- give space for retreat and reflection
- provide ongoing training and development
- to give a full day of rest each week
- share responsibility
- strive to be an excellent employer
- celebrate and appreciate.
