Can you capture Christmas?

29 July 2008

Manchester will host an Award Ceremony later this year for the best one-minute film that captures the real meaning of Christmas. Entrants have the chance to win £3000 for their church, along with other great prizes, including thebandwithnoname signed merchandise, tickets to Greenbelt 09 and more.

EIG is running the competition, which it hopes will really inspire young people and get some fantastic profile for the Church. The competition is open to anyone, but all films will need to be endorsed by a church or youth group leader.

Films can be shot on a camcorder, laptop or mobile phone and uploaded to the website, www.truemeaning.co.uk. It is hoped that the winning film will draw new faces into the Church.

The awards ceremony will take place at Old Trafford in November, so it would be great to have a winning entry from Manchester.
