The Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, is to join Manchester clergy for their day conference on 20 May 2021.
The Diocese of Manchester passed a motion at its March Synod declaring a climate emergency and calling for all churches to work towards achieving net zero emissions by 2030.
The Church of England's first mission support priest for cultural diversity wins the Alphege Award for Evangelism and Witness from the Archbishop of Canterbury.
