Ministry Training

The diocese provides resources and training at key moments for all ministers, including First Incumbents, Changing Posts, Preparing for Retirement.

Training is provided every two years for new Area Deans, and work is being done at present with Team Rectors to look at how teams may be strengthened and how good practice might be developed in the formation of new teams.

Through the Ministerial Development Review Scheme, further training needs are flagged up and the CME Officer will help clergy access appropriate training.

Over the next few months we will also be providing links to other training which is being offered, conferences which are being run, events which might well be useful, offered through other organisations, and links to the appropriate websites.
