You are invited to an evening of conversation and inspiration. Come to meet with local police neighbourhood officers to discuss ways of working together for the good of the community. These evenings build on the city-wide event at The Forum in Wythenshawe in June, but this time with a local focus. ‘ROC Conversations’ will bring churches and police together to identify projects which already exist and to kick start new ideas.
Chief Constable Peter Fahy said: “We have been successful in reducing crime across Greater Manchester but we still face many challenges and my officers deal every day with the impact of broken relationships, local tensions and alcohol and drug addiction. We would like to work more closely with churches to offer more hope in these situations”.
