Schools in Difficulties

We provide support to Church of England schools in difficulty. These include:
- schools in a formal category (notice to improve, special measures)
- schools identified by local authorities as causing concern for a number of reasons, e.g. governing body issues, personnel issues, pastoral issues.
We generally provide support on distinctive church school aspects and work alongside the local authority and other providers.
The Assistant Director, Malcolm Finney, coordinates the support offered.
