The Booth Centre, based at Manchester Cathedral, is supported by many churches in the diocese, especially at harvest. It is a day centre that offers advice and activities for homeless people in Manchester.
The Booth Centre provides advice, education and training to enable homeless people to find new homes, improve their health, increase their skills and confidence and to successfully resettle in the community.

Mustard Tree aims to help people get off the streets and into housing. Registered clients are given practical help in finding a home and furnishing it using donated items of furniture which they can purchase using money allocated to them. Mustard Tree also supports homeless people with its regular soup runs.

Porch Boxes is a small charity based in Bury that provides around 200 food parcels each month from its Radcliffe food bank to agencies working with people who have little or no access to emergency food. Recipients are located throughout Bury and Rochdale and into Bolton, Salford and Rossendale.
