SUMMARY:New Worshipping Communities Workshop - 3rd November
DESCRIPTION:We would love you to join one of our New Worshipping Communities workshops. These practical sessions will help lay and ordained leaders find out more about the process of setting up a new worshipping community\, explore the grant funding available to support new initiatives\, and discover further opportunities to learn\, connect and take the next step. \n\n\n\n\nTuesday 3rd November\, 7:30 pmSt Paul’s Church\, Kersal Moor\, Salford – Register Here\n\n\n\nWednesday 11th November\, 7:30 pmSt Paul’s Church\, Oldham – Register Here\n\n\n\nTuesday 17th November\, 7:30 pmSt Nicholas Church\, Burnage – Register Here\n\n\n\nMonday 23rd November\, 7:30 pmOnline – Register Here\n\n\n\n\nThe Church of England has encouraged each diocese\, as part of their parish renewal and church planting strategy\, to prayerfully explore the possibility of starting a new worshipping community as part of the “mixed ecology” of church that shapes\, informs and grows local churches. As a diocese\, we aim to start 40 NWCs over the next few years and invite parishes to prayerfully consider if this is for them. \n\n\n\nWhy are they needed? \n\n\n\nRooted in worship\, prayer\, and mission\, NWCs create new pathways for those not currently connected to church. Gathered around Christ and connected to the wider Church\, they enable communities of faith to emerge in new places\, among new people\, in new ways through creativity\, hospitality\, and faithful witness to the gospel. \n\n\n\nWho can participate? \n\n\n\nNWCs are often led by clergy and lay people with a vision and passion for starting something new. When a church seeks to form an NWC\, lay people should play a central role as part of the core leadership team. Any church with a vision and passion for exploring new possibilities can participate. \n\n\n\nOther Information \n\n\n\nThis is a completely free workshop\, and refreshments will be provided.

SUMMARY:New Worshipping Communities Workshop - 11th November
