DESCRIPTION:St Ann’s Church\, St Ann’s Square\, ManchesterSaturday 12th September at 3:30pmfollowed by refreshments \n\n\n\nWe invite you to the second annual celebration Eucharist for Spiritual Companionship\, an opportunity to express gratitude for the ministry of spiritual companionship in the diocese. The Ven David Sharples will preside and The Ven Dr Rachel Mann will preach. We will be celebrating all that is and has been\, and looking forward to what is to come as we train new companions and develop our support network. \n\n\n\nPlease come along and bring friends\, relatives\, or anyone interested in this ministry – we will be delighted to see everyone. \n\n\n\nFor catering purposes\, please email the names of those who wish to attend to Revd Canon Anne Edwards by Friday\, 4th September. SUMMARY:Worship Around the World Multicultural Celebration
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a joyful and uplifting evening of worship\, song and dance at our multicultural music celebration. \n\n\n\nWorship Around the World will take us on a journey across cultures through music and dance. Together\, we will celebrate the beautiful diversity of the Diocese of Manchester\, as different cultural heritages are showcased in worship. \n\n\n\nYou can look forward to: \n\n\n\n\nA multicultural gospel music group leading us in praise.\n\n\n\nMusical performances representing communities from Africa\, Persia (Farsi)\, South India\, Pakistan\, Cantonese\, and Europe.\n\n\n\nInspiring cultural dance presentations\, particularly from across the African diaspora.\n\n\n\n\nThis promises to be a Spirit-filled musical experience and expression of unity in Christ\, where many cultures come together in one voice of worship and praise. \n\n\n\nTimetable\n\n\n\n2:00pm – Arrival \n\n\n\n2:30pm – Main programme starts \n\n\n\n4:30pm – International light buffet \n\n\n\nGuests are also invited to remain for Manchester Cathedral Evensong at 5:30pm. \n\n\n\nBook your place\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for free via Eventbrite \n\n\n\n\n\nPlease book early to secure your place\, as capacity at the cathedral is limited. \n\n\n\nWe would love for you to join us for this special celebration of faith\, culture\, and community.
