All the resources that were shared by the presenters and exhibitors are now available to view and download.

Please can we encourage you to have a look at the presentations and to also share this information with your PCC, Treasurer, Gift Aid and Stewardship Officers. We commend this wealth of information to you, as keeping the finances of your church(es) healthy is one of the most important (but also hardest) aspects of ensuring that you remain viable in these uncertain times.

We acknowledge that some of these suggestions and ideas will currently not be of help, but many will so please take the opportunity to explore the options for your church and also do some forward planning, for example:

  • The feedback forms we received indicated that several churches wanted to introduce contactless giving to their congregations. Although it won’t be possible to introduce this donation method while churches are closed, it would be good for you to know what you want to do so you can move quickly when they reopen.
  • Create a Fundraising Committee, enlisting those members of your congregation who are interested in giving, fundraising and the stewardship of your Church, Churchyard and associated buildings (if you have them) for future generations.
  • Encourage volunteers to take on specific tasks around giving and fundraising so your Church can continue to build and grow until we are able to meet physically for services.

Please note: downloading of these presentations is for personal use only. The content should only be reused with permission.
