Children's Ministry Training

Training matters

Tailored training for your group, parish or deanery, or explore joining with others on the ALM elective training days.

We can offer training tailored to your context including: children’s ministry basics; children’s spirituality; intergenerational worship. We can help you establish a strong and sustained ministry with children and their families.

Resources and more for...

Sunday morning; midweek groups; Messy Church; school — wherever you are!

We can offer ideas and guidance on where to find resources for new and existing groups. We can lead sessions that give you opportunity to try out games and prayer ideas which can be used in your ministry.

Annually June to July. Come and join with others from around the North West as we learn together. Cost around £350.

Amplify is an inspiring course offered by the dioceses of Blackburn, Chester and Manchester. Over six months, students participate in a lectures, discussions, assignments and presentations in order to develop their expertise. The course runs over two residential weekends plus one day ending with a celebration and commissioning.

Growing younger

How we build on national CE research and develop a strategy of outreach , building genuine lasting relationships with those we meet.

Reflecting on Welcoming families through the gateway of baptism and the National Society Toddler Project we’ll present key findings, stories of good practice from around the Diocese and how this might help us provide, run and offer sustainable services for young families which are hospitable and welcoming particularly in parishes where school attendance is a factor.
