    Cathedral open for private prayer

    Since Monday 15 June 2020 churches have been able to reopen for private prayer, after being closed since mid-March due to the coronavirus emergency.

    The Dean of Manchester, Rogers Govender, explains what you can expect to see and do at Manchester Cathedral now that is has re-opened to the general public for private prayer. Visitors may spend time in quite prayer and reflection, and enjoy the peace and grandeur of the cathedral building.
