Family worship funding available
05 August 2020 IN: Schools
We are pleased to announce the next round of the grant making fund: 'Family Worship and Beyond'.
As part of the ongoing strategy within the Diocesan vision ‘to be a worshiping, growing and transforming Christian presence at the heart of every community’, the Reserves and Investments subcommittee of the Board of Education have established a grant fund of £15,000. This will be administered over a two-year period, which began in autumn 2019.
The fund is open to applications from churches meeting a specified set of criteria including factors such as income, location and long term vision. We are aware that over the next few months, family ministry might look a little different and this will be taken into account when awards are being considered.
Applications for grants of up to £250 for existing groups and £750 for new initiatives (six of each), may be made for Messy Church or similar, including distinctively Christian worship for under-fives and their families. The closing date for applications is 20 November 2020.
