A reflection for Ash Wednesday

"Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return.
Turn away from sin and be faithful to Christ."

These words, used in a traditional Ashing Service, form the basis of Bishop Mark's Ash Wednesday reflection. In a year when we have been reminded of our own mortality only too clearly, we can use Lent to focus on things that last for eternity and to conciously draw closer to Christ.
