Dean of Studies: The Light College
The Light College is a small but growing college for pioneers and evangelists. We run accredited university courses in theology, mission, evangelism and pioneer chaplaincies up to and including BA.
Our courses are offered to people all over the UK and our students herald from diverse backgrounds. Our passion is to see people all over this nation, and others, experience Jesus in a real and life-changing way.
We are currently looking for a Dean.

They will be the person who organises, both practically and financially, how we operate and will effectively organise the day-to-day running of the College. With experience of finance and operations, they must be highly organised and a capable multi-tasker.
The Dean will help oversee a small team and, with other leaders, take key decisions in the running of the College. Areas of responsibility include: finance and bookkeeping , office organisation, policies and risk, timetabling, HR, governance.
The person must have initiative and energy but the nature of the College also requires them to be a team player as we have a flat leadership structure and a highly collaborative way of working.
It is not required that the Dean has a background in academia but experience in finance is essential and experience of running an office or small organisation would be beneficial.
It is an occupational requirement that this person be a practising Christian.
Initially, the post will be offered at 22.5 hours per week. However, there is scope, after a period of review, to re-organise the operations team in which an increase in hours would be feasible. This can be discussed at interview.
