Incumbent: St Lawrence Denton and Christ Church Denton with St George Dane Bank

Incumbent of Christ Church Denton with St George’s Dane Bank and St Lawrence’s Denton, to be held in plurality.

The PCCs and Patrons are looking for a person who will lead us in prayer and walk with us in faith and love. Our next priest will be someone who can enable a new missional partnership between the two parishes of St Lawrence’s and Christ Church with St George’s.

They will:

• be a person of joyful faith and sustained prayer respectful of worship already used and keen to try new things
• be committed to a strong Safeguarding culture
• be committed to the Diocesan Mission Goals of Growing, Nurturing and Serving and the key themes of Growing Younger; Church Planting and Revitalisation; Developing Missional Leaders – Lay and Ordained; and Mission Renewal.
• be a pastoral presence and able to encourage the pastoral skills of others
• be able to build up our discipleship and have proven skills in encouraging and developing every member ministry
• have experience of developing links with the wider local community
• be able to lead on, or learn about, the maintenance of the fabric of the buildings
• be purposeful about helping Christ Church and St George’s and St Lawrence’s form a new close working relationship
