The Diocese of Manchester has committed to planting 10 small churches in some of the more disadvantaged and culturally diverse areas of the diocese by 2023. We are looking for a Project Operations Manager to provide strategic, organisational and administrative support for the leaders of these small church plants.

The post-holder will be highly organised with a ‘can-do’ attitude and be willing to engage with any task. They will have good strategic awareness and be adept at identifying and solving problems. They will possess great IT skills, including proficiency in social media and will be able to analyse and interpret data in ways that can easily be understood by others.

This is an exciting opportunity to break new ground in one of Europe’s most diverse, creative and exciting cities, which nevertheless suffers from high levels of deprivation.

There is an occupational requirement for the post-holders to be practising Christians, in accordance with Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.

An appropriate safeguarding check is required for this role.

For an informal chat about the role please contact the Revd John Brett on 0161 478 8122
