Each year\, crowds line the streets of Manchester City Centre to support the churches as they take part in this much‑loved event. \n\n\n\nWe are delighted to announce that the Revd Canon Kate Bottley will be the preacher for this year’s walk. Kate is well known as an Anglican priest\, journalist\, and radio presenter\, and will join us for the Act of Worship in St Peter’s Square\, one of the highlights of the procession through the streets of Manchester. \n\n\n\nEveryone is invited to join us on Monday\, 25th May (Bank Holiday) for this year’s Whit Walk. Churches and brass bands will take part in this joyful procession of faith and fellowship\, and we would love for your parish to take part. \n\n\n\nThe closing date to register for the walk is Friday\, 10th April.
