A silent interfaith prayer vigil was held at Manchester Cathedral on the evening of Tuesday 7 November, to pray for peace in the Middle East.

People of all faiths and none were invited to gather in the Cathedral’s central Nave area to pray in contemplative silence and to hold the people of Israel and Palestine in their hearts and before God. The Cathedral offered a central, peaceful space to host representatives from various political and faith backgrounds.
