St John’s House Achieves Silver Eco Award

Our offices at St John’s House have been awarded the Silver Eco Church Award by A Rocha UK, recognising our commitment to environmental care – just in time for Creationtide.

The award celebrates a wide range of initiatives led by Eco Champion Geri Walker and the team, including:

• Prayer walks and Carbon Awareness training
• A vertical garden in limited outdoor space
• A commitment to switching from paper to digital
• Fairtrade commitment and food-sharing via Olio
• Cycle to Work scheme and replanting Christmas trees
• Participation in A Rocha’s T25 species care project
