Prayer Walk in Memory of Stephen Lawrence

To mark Stephen Lawrence Day on 22nd April, the Racial Justice Team is raising funds for the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation. The fundraiser aims to raise awareness of racial justice and equality, and provide an opportunity for reflection, community, and collective action.

As part of this campaign, the Racial Justice Team is hosting a 5km reflective walk in Heaton Park, Manchester, on Saturday 25th April from 12pm-1:30pm. All are invited to this event as we come together in solidarity to remember Stephen, reflect, and walk together in hope. The team will also be collaborating with local churches to encourage participation from our wider community and provide an opportunity for collective action.
