Visit a Gold-standard Eco Church

Join Canon Grace Thomas for a trip to Clitheroe URC Church, which has been awarded A Rocha Gold Eco Church status. The visit is a valuable opportunity to hear about the church’s journey to Gold and get useful tips which you can apply to your parish context. Previous similar trips have proved to be very helpful, and the visit is open to anyone although booking is essential.
The church is expecting us at 10.15am. They will provide refreshment on arrival, and the session will end around 12.30. If you are interested, there is the option to bring a packed lunch and eat together before heading back.
For those getting the train, the 08.45 leaves Manchester Victoria and will get into Clitheroe at 10am, giving time to walk to the church. It also passes through Salford Central (08.48), Salford Crescent (08.51 – this is where Grace will board), Bolton (09:04), Hall-i-th-Wood (09:09), Bromley Cross (09.13). Standard return fare is just under £10
