Manchester Airport Chaplaincy Receives Handmade Teddies

The team at the Manchester Airport Chaplaincy were delighted to welcome a group from Forget Me Knit in Stretford, who generously donated a batch of handmade teddies to give comfort to children arriving in the midst of humanitarian assistance cases.

The team at the Manchester Airport Chaplaincy were delighted to welcome a group from Forget Me Knit in Stretford, who generously donated a batch of handmade “Trauma Teddies” to give comfort to children arriving in the midst of humanitarian assistance cases. A huge thank you to Shirley, Anne, and John (off camera) for their kindness and encouraging words.

During their visit, the teddies were blessed in prayer – for those who lovingly made them and for the children who will receive them. These comforting companions are now ready to be shared where they’re most needed.

If your knitting group would like to contribute, please contact: thechaplaincy@manairport.co.uk
