Are you passionate about helping children grow in faith and flourish? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Children’s Worker to join our Salford Encounter Archdeaconry Team and play a key role in nurturing vibrant, creative and mission‑shaped ministry for 5–11s across the area.
In this exciting role, you’ll develop, support and resource Children’s Ministry in line with our diocesan vision to see more young active disciples and ensure thriving CYP ministry within reach of every child. You’ll help churches grow and enrich their ministry by resourcing and inspiring existing children’s work, supporting new initiatives and distinctly Christian groups for 5–11s, fuelling fresh expressions of worship such as Messy Church and Forest Church, strengthening connections between primary schools and churches through meaningful Year 6 transition events, and championing best practice through ongoing learning and current research. If you’re creative, faith‑filled, and excited about shaping children’s ministry across Salford, we’d love to hear from you!
