ALMs Gather for Annual Retreat

Last Saturday, around 30 Authorised Lay Ministers gathered for a retreat ahead of the annual ALM Authorisation Service on 19th September.

Led by Revd Jason Powell, the day centred on the theme “Small Boat, Great Big Sea” and the journey of St Brendan. New ALMs and those being reauthorised took time to reflect, pray and prepare for the season of ministry ahead. It was a lovely day of quietness, worship, time with the ALM Chaplains and, of course, some paper boat making!
