Thirtyone:eight is a Christian organisation named after Proverbs 31:8, which calls us to “speak out on behalf of the voiceless, and for the rights of all who are vulnerable.” This verse inspires their mission to advocate for and protect those at risk. You can find a wide range of resources, publications, support and training on their website.

Safeguarding Virtual Library

The Safeguarding Virtual Library is a digital platform where individuals across the Church can access specific resources to help them in their understanding and practice of safeguarding. Church of England Safety Policy and Guidance

For a wide range of practical safety policies and guidance, visit the Church of England’s Safety Resources page. The site brings together mandatory requirements and recommended good practice for PCCs, churches and church charities, covering areas such as safeguarding, health and safety, risk management, data protection, governance and staff or volunteer management.

Resources include guidance on lone working, working alone in churches, fire safety, accident reporting and first aid, safer recruitment, social media use, filming and photography, and security and crime prevention, helping churches create safe environments for everyone.

It’s Not Just Policy, It’s Personal

‘It’s Not Just Policy, It’s Personal’ is a campaign to raise awareness of how to recognise and report safeguarding concerns. The resources are designed to build confidence in responding and taking appropriate action.
