The second Deanery Lay Leadership Conference for Bury and Rossendale recently brought together lay leaders for a morning of worship and leadership training.
The second Deanery Lay Leadership Conference for Bury and Rossendale recently brought together Readers, ALMs, Focal Leaders, Churchwardens, Children and Youth Leaders, Treasurers, PCC members and more for a morning of worship and leadership training. The morning followed the success of the first conference in March last year, and this time the focus was on Wellbeing and Succession Planning. Bishop Mark Davies delivered a keynote address, and attendees had the opportunity to explore wellbeing stalls, a Fairtrade stall and more in the new meeting space downstairs at St John’s House.
Two further Lay Leadership Conferences are taking place this autumn, one in Manchester South and Stretford Deanery on Saturday 24th October and one in Rochdale Archdeaconry (for Rochdale and Oldham and Ashton deaneries) on Saturday 7th November. Find more information and book your spot here:
