Garden Parties at Bishopscourt

Last week, Bishop David and the Revd Canon Sue Walker welcomed clergy and their families to Bishopscourt for a series of three garden parties. The gatherings were held as a thank you for their ministry and offered an opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues from across the diocese.

The garden parties on Thursday and Friday were held for retired clergy, clergy widows and widowers, while Saturday’s gathering welcomed this year’s ordinands and their families.

Guests enjoyed the hospitality of the Bishopscourt team, as well as some beautiful summer weather, making for enjoyable afternoons of conversation, fellowship and celebration.
