Have Your Say: Help to Shape the Future of Parish Safeguarding Resources

The National Safeguarding Team are inviting all those involved in safeguarding in parish life to take part in a short survey.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officers do extraordinary work every day to help keep our churches safe, welcoming, and caring places for all. Your insight, experience and wisdom are vital to shaping the support we offer across the diocese and the wider Church of England.

That’s why we’re inviting you, and all those involved in safeguarding in parish life, to take part in a short Parish Safeguarding Survey.

This survey is a chance for you to tell the national safeguarding team:

  • How helpful you find current safeguarding resources
  • What works well in your context
  • What feels unclear or could be improved
  • What new tools, training, or guidance would make safeguarding easier and more effective in your parish

Please do pass the survey link on to clergy, PCC safeguarding leads, volunteers, youth and children’s workers, and anyone else who plays a part in safeguarding ministry.

Click here to access the survey. Closing date: 20 February 2026

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact the national team at policy.safeguarding@churchofengland.org
