Bishop Henry (Harry) Moore RIP

We have received the sad news that Bishop Henry (Harry) Moore died on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, aged 102. His funeral took place on Friday, 30th December 2025.

Harry served as Rector of St Margaret’s, Burnage and St Leonard’s, Middleton in our diocese, alongside a life of service to The Church Missionary (now Mission) Society. A full obituary, written by Canon Mark Oxbrow is available here Obituary: The Rt Revd H. W. (Harry) Moore
