Exploring The Art of Discipleship with Bishop Matthew

Over the past few months, Bishop Matthew Porter has led a series of four events exploring different aspects of discipleship. Titled The Art of Discipleship, the series focused on four key themes: giving, journalling, fasting and reading. Through each session, Bishop Matthew shared practical insights into how each topic can nurture personal spiritual growth. The evenings featured a short talk, group discussions and opportunities for questions and reflection.

Thank you to Oldham Parish Church, Church of the Resurrection & St Barnabas, St John’s Pendlebury, and St Peter’s Halliwell, who each hosted one of these events and made everyone feel so welcome.

Each of these themes is explored in Bishop Matthew’s The Art of Discipleship book series, with The Art of Reading being the latest addition to the collection.
