If your church is running, developing, or planning a project that helps address poverty and its effects in your local area, now is the time to apply for funding.

The latest round of Council for Social Aid (CSA) Large Grants is now open, offering funding of up to £30,000 over three years to support Anglican church-owned and church-linked projects across the Diocese of Manchester.

The grants are designed to help churches develop and expand initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the lives of local communities. Whether your project addresses the wider impacts of poverty or helps strengthen community wellbeing, CSA funding could provide the support needed to expand work that meets local needs, supports vulnerable people, and helps communities flourish.

Over the years, CSA grants have supported a wide range of projects that respond to local need, enabling churches to serve their communities in practical ways.

Applications for this funding round are open now and will close on 31st January 2027.
