As Manchester prepares to celebrate Pride weekend, Manchester Cathedral will once again host its annual Pride Eucharist, offering a space for worship, prayer and community for LGBTQ+ people, their families, friends and allies.
The service will take place at 6pm on Sunday 30 August. This year’s service will be presided over by the Revd Michaila Roberts, with Fr Paul Pritchard preaching.
This is the sixth year of this much-loved gathering, which has become a valued tradition in the Cathedral’s calendar.
The Eucharist brings together people from across Greater Manchester and beyond to celebrate God’s love, give thanks for the diversity of the Church and wider community, and pray for a world in which everyone can flourish.
Everyone is welcome to join this special service as Manchester Cathedral opens its doors to all.
