Sing my Soul Choral Scholars Record for the BBC

This week, the new Diocese of Manchester Choral Scholars, part of the Sing my Soul project, visited Bishopthorpe Palace to record three BBC Daily Services with the Archbishop of York and the Rt Revd Dr Eleanor Sanderson, the Bishop of Hull.

The BBC will broadcast the services to mark All Souls, Remembrance and Candlemas. The visit provided an exciting opportunity for the young singers to contribute to the BBC’s Daily Service, sing in the historic surroundings of Bishopthorpe Palace, and share the Sing my Soul programme with the wider northern province.

You can see this year’s cohort of talented Choral Scholars closer to home in parishes across our diocese. View the autumn schedule here.
