EXPLORING FAITH
Church Calendar
The Christian year is a way of marking time that keeps our eyes on Jesus Christ. Rather than simply moving from January to December, the Church follows a rhythm of seasons and festivals that tell the story of God’s love for the world.
These seasons remind us that faith is a journey. Each part of the year invites us to reflect, celebrate, and grow in a unique way. From waiting in hope during Advent, to rejoicing at Christ’s birth, walking through His life, death, and resurrection, and looking ahead to his coming again.
If you are looking for resources for each season, the Church of England provides resources and support for key moments throughout the Christian year. Whether you’re planning services, leading prayers, or simply seeking personal reflection, you’ll find materials to guide and inspire you.
