Confirmation is a significant milestone in the Christian journey. Through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop, candidates are strengthened by the Holy Spirit and welcomed into the life of the Church.

Many churches offer confirmation preparation courses to help candidates understand the foundations of Christian belief and what it means to follow Jesus today.
